Feeling adventurous? At the dock we have the famous birdnest canoes. I know it’s hard to believe but they are free for hotel guests of course if you are just passing trough you can also use them for a small fee.
If you are brave enough you can venture the waters alone. You can ask for peddles and life jackets from the pool attendant. But if you feel more comfortable having a pilot you can plan a guided canoe trip at the reception.
Did you know Lake Bunyonyi is a relatively safe lake free of dangerous animals like crocodiles or hippos. So if you where to somehow fall out of your canoe there is no need for major panic. Relax get back in your canoe and be happy you have not lost any body parts.
